Obituary

Stephen Dee "Steve" Fullmer, 51 of Idaho Falls, died April 1, 2007, at Life Care Center in Idaho Falls of complications from a long illness.

He was born August 20, 1955, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Lawrence Dee and Vera Mae Wilding Fullmer. He spent his childhood years and attended school in Kearnes, Utah. When he was a teenager, he moved with his family to Rexburg, where he graduated from Madison High School in 1973.

He held many jobs throughout his life. Learning from his father, he became a skilled carpenter, and worked on many projects with his Dad. He later moved from Rexburg to Apache Junction, Arizona, to work as a carpenter and cement pourer. After returning to Rexburg, he worked at K-Mart for a number of years doing a variety of different jobs. In 1987, he moved to Mountain Home, Idaho, where he started his own carpet cleaning business. After living there for a few years, he returned to this area once again to be close to his family and friends. However, due to complications of his illness, he was unable to work during the last few years of his life.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking, playing cards, reading, cooking, gardening, and sharing his knowledge with others. One of Stephen's greatest assets was his ability to make others laugh, and his wit and sense of humor always brought smiles to those around him.

He is survived by the following children; Crystal Marie Bissette of Rigby, Anthony Thomas Fullmer of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Paul Dee Fullmer of St. Anthony; brother, Michael (Karen) Fullmer of Idaho Falls, sisters; Cyndee (Mike) Spindle of Idaho Falls, Melinda (Rocky) Treadway of St. Anthony, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dee and Vera Mae Fullmer, a daughter, Andrea Dee Fullmer, and his grandparents.

At Steve's request, no services will be held. Arrangements have been under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls.
