Obituary

"Stormin" Norman Standfield, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

He was born February 22, 1960, in Mendenhall, Mississippi, to Javous and Nellie Harris Standfield. He grew up in Mendenhall and graduated from Mendenhall High School in 1978. He went to Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, Alabama.

He married Sadie Fry.

He also lived in Salt Lake City and Idaho Falls.

Norman had a signature voice and loved announcing. He also enjoyed being with his family and friends. Those who knew him would say "I did it My Way" sums up his life.

He is survived by the following:
daughter, Savannah Kim
daughter, Teya Storer
daughter, Aubrey Standfield
brother, Roy Lee (Dee) Standfield
brother, John W. (Gaynelle) Standfield
brother, Wes Standfield
brother, Larry (Marilyn) Standfield
4 grandchildren

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2019, at the New Hope Temple Church of God in Christ, 1571 S. Ammon, Idaho Falls. Arrangements were under the care of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
