Susan Diane Richards, 65, of Iona, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on January 14, 1961, to Elton Earl Ogren and Helen Joyce Howard Ogren in Gardena, California. She lived in California until the eighth grade, when she moved to Ammon, where she grew up and graduated from Bonneville High School in 1979.

On April 14, 1979, she married Rex Grant Richards in Idaho Falls, and they made their home in Iona. She worked at Arctic Circle and Tri State Hydraulics. She loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed softball, camping, boating, skiing, and just being outdoors. She was a great, fun-loving person.

Susan is survived by her husband, Rex Richards of Iona; her son, Dustin Richards of Idaho Falls; her daughter, Sandy (David) Bailey of Idaho Falls; her granddaughters: Kiani (Cesar) Dominguez of Idaho Falls, and Brooklyn Richards of Idaho Falls; her grandsons: Jesper Bailey of Idaho Falls, and Brock Richards of Idaho Falls; and her brothers Alan Ogren of Idaho Falls and Glenn Ogren of Idaho Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elton and Joyce Ogren; her brother, Bill Ogren; her mother and father-in-law, Grant and Barbara Richards; 3 brothers-in-law; and 2 sisters-in-law.
