Obituary

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Tauna Lee Moss Fell, 61, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away from a courageous battle with cancer Monday, December 8, 2014, at home with her family near her side. She was born March 22, 1953, to Lyle Barclay Moss and Bonnie Cordon Moss in Driggs, Idaho. Her first three years were spent in the shadow of the Tetons. The family moved to Idaho Falls in 1956. Tauna attended Skyline High School and graduated in 1971. She continued her education at Ricks College where she earned her Associate's Degree in Interior Design. On November 16, 1973, she married the love of her life, Scott Wayne Fell, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple for time and all eternity. Besides being a homemaker, she worked at Children's World Day Care, as a teacher's aide at Iona Elementary School and as a librarian at Discovery Elementary School. She loved working with children and they loved her back. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served faithfully in many ward and stake callings throughout her life. She taught us to endure to the end. Tauna sang in a trio that performed at Temple Square, Festival of Trees, as well as many other places. They made their own CD recording and their songs can still be heard on the radio as part of the Sounds of Sunday. Tauna also enjoyed playing the organ for many years in her ward. As a skill seamstress, she enjoyed sewing for her family and friends. She made many quilts, Afghans' and dresses for her daughters, granddaughters and others. She even made time to enjoy a round of golf as often as possible. She loved to travel and was able to see many parts of the world. Tauna loved to have a good laugh and would find humor in the toughest situations. Spending time with her family and reading stories to her grandchildren brought her great joy. She is survived by her family: Husband, Scott W. Fell of Idaho Falls; Daughters: Jamee (Adam) Tibbitts (Clara, Aaron, Brandon) of Bountiful, Utah, and Kristen (Russell) Powell (Emily, and Stephen) of Richmond, Virginia; Sons: Jared (Sarah) Fell (Braxton, Madisen, Bryson, Makenna, Abigale) of Yorktown, Virginia, Brandon (Lacie) Fell (Macie, Carter), and Trenton (Rachel) Fell (Barclay) of Idaho Falls; Sister; Peggy (George) Rigby of Farmington, Utah; Brothers: Gary (Tanya) Moss of Boise, Idaho, and R. Todd (Dawn) Moss of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. Tauna was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Bonnie Moss. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2014, at the Sandcreek LDS 2nd Ward Chapel, 2545 Mesa St. with Bishop Wallace Baker officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls, and Friday at the church one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at. www.coltrinmortuary.com
