Tavick Austin-Ray McBride, 8, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 29, 2019, at home surrounded by his family.

On May 14, 2010, Douglas and Whitney McBride welcomed their precious baby boy, Tavick Austin-Ray McBride in Idaho Falls, Idaho. His family nicknamed him "Buggy".

In his early childhood, he was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome. He was a happy boy that enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family. He attended Summit Hills Elementary.

Tavick's smile lit up any room he was in. He taught everyone he came in contact with what love and happiness really were.

He was survived by his mother, Whitney (C.J.) Beard; his father, Douglas (Kathy) McBride, sisters: Lyrick Schuldt, Kiysah Perrenoud and Kiyrhi Perrenoud; brother, Brakkin Beard all of Idaho Falls, ID; grandparents: Curtiss Nichols of Idaho Falls, ID, Colton (Debra) Beard of Pocatello, ID, Patti (Jimmy) Landon of Idaho Falls, ID, Craig (Teena) McBride of Idaho Falls, ID, and Debbie (LeRoy) Aeschbacher of Idaho Falls, ID; great-grandmas: Irene (Gail) Beard of Portland, OR and Jo-Ann (Dwain) Anderson of Idaho Falls, ID; aunts: Shannon (Josh) Jex, Chelsey Nichols, both of Idaho Falls, ID and Kimberly (Joe) McBride of Monrovia, CA; uncles: Tyler (Mikayla) Nichols, Korry (Michelle) Beard, Bobby (Alisha) Beard and Luke McBride all of Idaho Falls, ID; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Traiton McBride; grandparents: Sally and Duane Hymer; great-grandma, Jan Galbraith; aunts: Kymberly Hymer and Maddie Beard; and uncle, Matthew Lively.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the mortuary.
