Terry "Shep" Shepherd, 74, of Idaho Falls, died July 26, 2011, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born September 27, 1936, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Otis Terry and Elizabeth Theros Shepherd. He grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Idaho Falls High School. He served in the United States Air Force. He married Della Wood in Idaho Falls on April 24, 1976. He worked for GE Supply, G&R Electric and owner of the Reelax Lounge. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Eagles Club. He was an avid golfer, hunter, skier, fisherman and loved playing cards. We loved our husband, father, brother and grandfather and shall miss him very much. We will remember him for his sense of humor, competitive nature and instilling in us a sense to take chances and not be afraid of the adventure - called life. He is survived by the following: wife, Della Wood Shepherd of Idaho Falls; son, David Shepherd of Dublin, California; son, Anthony "Tony" Shepherd of Newbury, New Hampshire; son, Mark Shepherd of Ft. Worth, Texas; son, Paul Shepherd of San Diego, California; brother, Roger Shepherd of Salt Lake City, Utah; sister, Sue Jenkins of Salt Lake City, Utah; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011, at the Idaho Falls Elks Lodge at 640 E. Elva in Idaho Falls. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
