Obituary

Twila "Tootie" Gough Harris, 44, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 30, 2011 at her home surrounded by loved ones following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was under the care of One Source Hospice. She was born August 20, 1967, to Justin Gough and LaFay Cleverley Gough. She grew up and attended schools in the area. She graduated from Bonneville High School in 1985. On January 16, 1998, she married Greg Harris in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. She worked for Global Accessories in Logan, Utah, and for Melaleuca in Idaho Falls. She worked as a CNA at many different care centers and she enjoyed her work serving others. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Twila enjoyed spending time with her daughters, camping, boating and having fun with family and friends. She was a special daughter, mother, sister, and aunt. Twila was always there to help those in need. Her smile and sense of humor touched many lives and will be missed by all. She is survived by the following: Daughters: McKinlee Marie Mathie and McKaela Lynn Harris both of Idaho Falls; Mother, LaFay Gough of Idaho Falls;Sisters: Carla (Chad Parris) Paulsen of Idaho Falls; Tesha (Dale) Mitchell of Shelley; Laurie (Mikel Scholes) Walker of Ogden, Utah; and Vangie (Kim) Halbrook of Idaho Falls;Brother, Kirk (Cindy) Gough of Bountiful, Utah. Twila was preceded in death by her father, Justin E. Gough. There will be a close family and friend's memorial held Friday, October 7, 2011, from 11-1:00 p.m. at the Idaho Falls LDS Church, 1155 First St., Idaho Falls, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Annie Foundation, 3544 E. 17th St., Suite 201, Idaho Falls, ID 83404. Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls. The family would like to express appreciation to One Source Hospice/Annie Foundation and all the medical service providers for their help during our difficult time.
