Obituary

Tyler Michael Goodworth, a devoted husband and father, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024, in Idaho Falls, at the tender age of 32. Tyler was born on February 18, 1991, in Pocatello, Idaho to Dean and Michelle Goodworth. He had two older sisters, followed by two more sisters, before finally getting two little brothers.

Six months after Tyler's birth, the family moved to Arco, Idaho where we lived for the next eight years. It was in Arco that the family enjoyed trips into the hills to camp and ride. This is when Tyler cultivated his profound love for the outdoors and the thrill of motorbikes. He had a natural talent! At age 3, he quickly learned to ride his pedal bike without training wheels! Often Tyler would go really fast down the dirt road and then skid to a halt saying "Watch me ski!"

In August 1999, the family moved to Ammon, Idaho. Tyler continued to shine academically at Ammon Elementary, Sandcreek Middle School, and graduated from Hillcrest High School in 2009. His youth was marked by noteworthy achievements as a Cub and Boy Scout, earning accolades and eventually attaining the esteemed Eagle Scout Award.

Tyler loved being involved in sports, playing Grid Kid Football, basketball, and later indulging in his passion for snowboarding and skateboarding. Tyler loved sports and followed the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Lakers (Kobe), Utah Jazz, and the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed going to watch the motocross races or watching them on TV.

Tyler's affection for children was always evident. He was frequently seen playing basketball in the driveway with all the little neighborhood kids or riding dirt bikes with one of them on his lap. If there was a baby around, you could guarantee Tyler would be holding it!

During high school and after graduating, Tyler worked hard at different jobs. He was employed by Great Western Foods, KVO Cabinets, and then his dream job at Action Motor Sports repairing motorbikes and other power-sport vehicles. His strong work ethic and loyalty to those who gave him the opportunity, and his dedication to doing excellent work were evident throughout his career.

Tyler married Rockelle Allen in 2010, and welcomed their sweet daughter, Kaydree Raine, the next year. After their divorce, Tyler's life found renewed purpose and joy when he met LaKeysha Hazeem in 2014. LaKeysha changed his life forever. They married on July 22, 2017, and created a beautiful family adding Greyson Kobe-lee and twins, Kyrie Nicole and Kinzi Raelynn. Tyler's family was the light of his life.

Tyler worked hard to provide for his family and give them a life full of adventure and love. They especially enjoyed riding dirt bikes and razors, going camping, and spending time with close friends.

Just before Christmas 2023, they took a special family trip to LegoLand, and the California beaches where they enjoyed creating family memories.

LaKeysha, the love of Tyler's life, stood by him through the trials of addiction offering unwavering support. With the continuous help of his family, Tyler courageously battled his addiction - no matter how hard he wrestled with it, he still struggled. It wasn't until LaKeysha was by his side that he won nearly 10 years clean before the addiction crept in. An accidental overdose took him from his family.

Our hearts overflow with gratitude to LaKeysha for the precious time she shared with Tyler and the endless love she gave him. As we bid him a temporary farewell, our hearts ache with the realization that time slipped away, leaving us yearning for more moments to be with him. His departure leaves a void that will never be filled in this life.

Tyler is survived by his wife LaKeysha; daughters Kaydree, Kyrie and Kinzi, and son Greyson of Ammon, Idaho; his parents, Dean and Michelle Goodworth of Ammon, ID; four sisters, Kayla (Andrew) Brown of St George, UT, Tasha (Curtis) Johnson of Iona, ID, Arielle (Kyle) Smith of Shelley, ID, and Brecia (Max) Laymon of Ammon, ID; and two brothers, Colton (Saige) Goodworth and Ryan Goodworth of Ammon, ID; Grandparents Marilyn Goodworth of Blackfoot, ID, Rod (Michelle) Panike and Suzette Panike of Weiser, ID. He left over 60 cousins, and 18 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfather David Goodworth, Great-Grandparents Lorna Dennett, Norma and Orval Fotchman, Richard Goodworth, Elena Jensen Goodworth, Fred Veibell, Grace Kendall Veibell and cousins, Gracie Goodworth and Clint Underwood.

May love and cherished memories comfort those who mourn his passing. We know we will see him again. May Tyler continue to watch over each of us as he did so valiantly here.

We love you, Tyler.
