Sadie Venetta Buttars Anderson 90, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Parkwood Meadows in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

She was born May 25, 1931, to John Earl Buttars and Agnes Emily Godfrey Buttars in Clarkston Utah. Venetta graduated from Jerome high school and attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho where she met her future husband. She completed nurses training just after she and Jarvis Anderson were married in 1953.

She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and a wonderful example to her family. She was also a leader in 4H and scouting.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Agnes, two brothers Lavar and Chad, two sisters Charlene and Dorothy, her husband Jarvis, and one son Travis.

Surviving are Beth (Monty) Haynes and their three children, Trina Ramirez, Teresa (John) Allen, Thomas (Mashell) Anderson, (Wendy) Anderson, Jalin (Christine) Anderson, John (Dawn) Anderson. Twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m., on Friday, October 29, 2021. Funeral services will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday, October 29, 2021, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.  Interment will follow at the Ammon cemetery.
