She married Albert Leinweber in Blackfoot, Idaho, on December 10, 1936. They were later divorced. She married Dean Strom in 1953. They were later divorced. During her lifetime, she lived in Lorenzo, Rigby, Idaho Falls, Las Vegas, Nevada, and California. She worked as a waitress, a PBX operator and as a unit secretary at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center for 10 years.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She enjoyed painting, crossword puzzles, crocheting afghans and doilies and was an avid reader.
She was a loving and caring mother and an exceptional person and no matter who you were, she treated you as if you were family; she will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her daughters Carlene (Doug) Hadley, of Idaho Falls, Linda Labrum, of Idaho Falls, and Holly (Tony) Gordon, of Indianapolis, Indiana; a son, Don Leinweber, of Lacey,Washington; a brother, Don (Ella) Morgan, of Idaho Falls 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, a brother, a sister, and a grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 30, 2006, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street in Idaho Falls, with Bishop Blaine Eborne of the Idaho Falls LDS 14th ward officiating. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the services at the mortuary. Interment will be at Annis Little-Butte Cemetery.
