Virginia M. Nisson passed away peacefully on February 19, 2012. She was born on January 11, 1931 in Salt Lake City to Gerald James Fralick and Mildred Eliza Knowles Fralick. She moved to the Idaho Falls area when she was a child and remained there most of her life. Virginia was married to Arlo V. Nisson on August 25, 1954. She had four children: N. Kim Nisson (Brigitte), Kevin Greg Nisson (Emily) of Layton UT, Lori Merritt of Rexburg, ID, and Shellie Strain (Charles) of Aiken, SC. She loved to read, sew and to garden. She loved her children, her grandchildren and especially her great grandchildren and they loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlo; her son, Kim; a grandson, John; a sister, Arlene; and a brother, Jim. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012, at the Idaho Falls LDS 24th Ward Chapel, 1155 First Street with Bishop Doug Hillman officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday evening February 24, 2012, from 6-7:00 p.m. at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls, and Saturday one hour prior to the services at the church.
