Wanda Amelia Johnson Evans Christensen, 83, of Idaho Falls, died June 29, 2010, at Peak Village in Ammon. She was under the care of Hospice. Wanda was born November 5, 1926 in Logan Utah to Daniel Fredrick Johnson and Amelia Leora Hansen. She spent her childhood in Logan and graduated from Logan High School. On June 22, 1952, she married Thomas Marion Evans, they were later divorced. In 1972 she married Harry Richard Christensen they were later divorced. Wanda worked as a waitress in Malad Idaho for Tommy's Lunch and Jones's Confectionary. Besides Logan and Malad she lived in Wendover, NV. Elko, NV. Jackpot, NV. and Idaho Falls. Wanda was involved with the Eagles for over twenty years. She was a foster grandparent for over ten years. She belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints. She enjoyed Bingo. Wanda is survived by the following; Daughter, Linda Nelson "Mike" Vazquez of Idaho Falls, son, Tony J. Evans of Idaho Falls, son, Ricky Marion Evans of Idaho Falls, and son, Danny Clyde "Julia" Evans, of Idaho Falls 13 grand children and 24 Great-grandchildren. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Clyde Johnson, and sisters Phyllis Johnson and Verla Johnson Hoffman. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2010, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends Thursday evening, July 1, 2010, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the mortuary and at 9:30 - 10:00 the day of the services.
