Mona Wydena "Dena" Schuldt Nielsen, 85, passed away July 1, 2015, at her home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, with her family present. She was under the care of Aspen Hospice. Dena was born December 9, 1929, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Edward Hans Schuldt and Velma Olsen Schuldt. Dena spent a lot of her childhood years in Iona with her grandparents, T.E. and Mary Olsen. Many of her favorite memories were of those years. She married Lewis Grant Nielsen, and they were together for more than 50 years. Dena was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a love for animals that lasted a lifetime. She enjoyed the outdoors and caring for her horses. She especially loved to trail ride with her friends. Over the years, Dena worked at Kings and Sears. She also had her own business as a dog groomer. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband, baby sister: Penny, and Granddaughter: Wendy. She leaves her daughter, DiAnn Simon (Lyle Cousin) of Ammon; sons: Bruce (Judy) Nielsen of Sequim, Washington, Brian (Vivian) Nielsen of Idaho Falls, and Dan (Jonna) Nielsen of Idaho Falls; brother, Marlo (Leanna) Schuldt of Orem, Utah; grandchildren: Todd, Troy, Darci, Debra, Doug, Cassie, Tristan and Scott; great-grandchildren: Coral, Dakota, Gage, Kyler, Makayla, Kiana, Connor, Savannah Rose and Larry; great-great-grandchildren: Ares, Damon, Kaitlyn, Emma and Trayson.
