Zachary Stephen Simpson, born on June 6, 1989, passed away on August 7, 2026, at the age of 37. Zachary was known for his wonderful personality and for being a friend to everyone he met. His presence brought warmth and humor to every place he went, and he had a rare gift for seeing the good in people.

Zachary cherished time spent with friends and family—both in person and online—and he always made others feel valued, included, and understood. He will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.

Above all else, Zachary’s greatest pride and deepest love was his son, Ryker James Simpson. Being a father was the role he treasured most in life, and he poured his heart into every moment they shared. Zachary cherished their time together, whether they were watching movies, gaming side by side, or simply talking and enjoying each other’s company. He loved watching Ryker grow, celebrating his accomplishments, and being there to encourage and support him through every step of life. The bond they shared was incredibly special, and the love Zachary had for his son will live on in Ryker’s heart forever.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Deanna Redford Simpson; his father, Wayne Winger Simpson; and his nephew, Titus Carbonello.

Zachary is survived by his son, Ryker James Simpson; his siblings and in-laws: Josh and Elizabeth Simpson, Barbara Simpson, Scott and Shannen Simpson, and Jessica and Geri Carbonello; and his beloved nieces and nephews: Taylor, Katelynn, Ethan, Emma, Xavier, Noah, Kade, Samantha, Genesis, Dante, and Enzo.

Though Zachary is gone, his spirit lives on in the hundreds of lives he touched—through kindness, humor, and the unforgettable way he made people feel.
