Zenda Lords, 87, of Idaho Falls, died Friday, November 29, 2013, at Pine Brook Assisted Living. She was born on December 11, 1925, in Orem, Utah, to Ezra Harrison and LaNora Bell Grange Harrison. She grew up in Huntington, Utah, and graduated from Emery High School in 1942. She married Duane Walter Lords on September 25, 1945, in Huntington, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized on May 28, 1954, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Duane passed away September 4, 2012. She worked for many years at Saving Center. She also worked at LDS Hospital which became Riverview Hospital, and when the time was right, she retired from EIRMC. She was a good worker and taught her family to work hard. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as Den Leader, Librarian, and Relief Society President. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, camping and family. She taught by example - love, devotion, dedication, hard work, self reliance, loyalty and how to laugh. She is survived by the following: Daughter, Kay (John, deceased) Haley of West Valley, Utah, Son, Allen (Chris) Lords of Idaho Falls Son, Mark (Tami) Lords of Idaho Falls Daughter, Diane Bezold of Idaho Falls Brother, Sam (Joy) Harrison of Castle Dale, Utah Brother, Elwin (Alma) Harrison of LaHabra, California Sister, Margaret McGuire of Seal Beach, California 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at the Idaho Falls LDS 18th Ward, 1800 Dunbar, Idaho Falls under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 p.m., Monday, December 1, 2013, at Coltrin Mortuary, and one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
