Paul Coltrin

Owner

Owner Paul I. Coltrin received his Funeral Director and Embalmer License from the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science in 1973. He grew up in Burley, Idaho, graduating from Burley High School in 1967. He became a partner at Hill-Coltrin-Sandberg Funeral Home in 1979 for four years. He purchased Williams Funeral Home in 1984 and changed the name to Coltrin Mortuary in 1989. He is active in his faith and has resided in Idaho Falls as well as Ammon for the past 40 years.

Paul has served as President of the Idaho Funeral Service Association and is an active member of Rotary International. He is a past member of the Idaho Falls School District #91 School Board and a past president of the Bonneville Unit of the American Cancer Society. He has also participated in community musical productions. He and his wife Nancy have six children and 25 grandchildren.

Nancy Coltrin

Owner

Nancy Coltrin was born in Rexburg, ID, the daughter of Boyd and Merle Stallings. She grew up in the Idaho Falls, Rigby, and Rupert areas and graduated from Minico High School in 1967.

Nancy received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brigham Young University in English Education with a minor in Speech and Drama in 1971.

She married Paul Coltrin on June 10, 1970, in Idaho Falls. They have 6 children and 25 grandchildren.

Nancy taught for several years at Rocky Mountain Middle School and Hillcrest High School. She also assists in directing funeral services.

Doug Coltrin

Licensed Mortician and Funeral Director

Doug Coltrin, son of Paul and Nancy Coltrin, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with an emphasis in Geography from the University of Idaho in Moscow in 2001. Doug worked for funeral homes in the Moscow-Pullman area and joined the Coltrin Mortuary staff in 2003.

He grew up in Ammon and graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1994. Doug is a 2005 graduate of Arapahoe Community College's Mortuary Science Program in Littleton Colorado, and is a Licensed Mortician with Coltrin Mortuary. Doug is also a licensed life insurance agent with Great Western Insurance Company for selling pre-paid funeral plans.

In 2021 Doug became a Certified Crematory Operator through the National Funeral Directors Association. Doug is active with the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce. Doug is currently serving on the Idaho Funeral Service Association's Board of Trustees representing Eastern Idaho. Doug and his wife Mary live east of Idaho Falls and have six children.

Kyle Larsen

Licensed Mortician and Funeral Director

Kyle is a Funeral Director with Coltrin Mortuary. He is the son of Kelly and Mac Larsen of Idaho Falls. He is a 1997 Graduate of Meridian High School in Meridian, Idaho, where he served as Senior Class President. He is a graduate of Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho, where he majored in Biology and played soccer.

He has been with Coltrin Mortuary since 2004 and is a 2006 graduate of Arapahoe Community College's Mortuary Science Program. Kyle is an active member of the Idaho Falls Kiwanis Club. Kyle is also a licensed life insurance agent with Great Western Insurance Company for selling pre-paid funeral plans.

Kyle is married to the former Gina Pack, and they have 4 children and live in Ucon.

Kelby Dayley

Licensed Funeral Director

Kelby is a Funeral Director with Coltrin Mortuary. He is the son of Rick and Karen Dayley. He was born and raised in the Mini-Cassia area. He graduated from Burley High School in 2015. He was actively involved in Student Government for 4 years, played in the High School band and marching band, and was also on the golf team for 4 years.

He moved to Idaho Falls after graduating from High School. Kelby graduated from Northeast Texas Community College in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, in May 2023 with his associates degree in Mortuary Science and Funeral Service. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Business Finance from Brigham Young University-Idaho in December 2024.

Bridgett Stanger

Office Manager

Bridgett Stanger is our Office Manager. She has worked for Coltrin Mortuary since 2007 and became the Office Manager in 2017.

Bridgett is from Idaho Falls, where she graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1988. She attended Ricks College until she married Frank Stanger. They have 4 boys and 1 grandson. She loves to spend her free time with her family.

She enjoys working with the families and helping them during this difficult time in their lives.

Debra Pack

Office Secretary

Debra Pack is our Office Secretary. She has worked for Coltrin Mortuary since 2021.

Debra is from Montpelier, Idaho, and resides in Ucon, Idaho with her husband Lamont Pack. She has 4 kids and 4 grandchildren.

She enjoys working with families and helping them during this difficult time in their lives.

Kendra McDaniel

Visitation Staff

Kendra McDaniel has been with Coltrin Mortuary since September of 1998. She works evening viewings, funerals, and part time in the mortuary office.

Kendra is a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbies include making quilts and working in her rose garden.

Jerry & Ranae Walker

Visitation Staff

Jerry & Ranae Walker have been a part of Coltrin Mortuary since 2010. Ranae works evening viewings and funerals. Jerry assists with funerals and serving families.

Jerry & Ranae have 6 children, 29 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. They enjoy spending time with their family.

Renae Sterzick

Visitation Staff

Renae Sterzick has been with Coltrin Mortuary since 2016. Renae assists with evening viewings, funerals, and part-time in our office.

Renae is from Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She went to Steven Henegar College. She has one son and 2 grandchildren.

She enjoys family get togethers, early morning walks, and a good book.

Joelene Hendricks has been with Coltrin Mortuary since 1985. She is our hairdresser and assists with viewings and funeral services. She is married to Sam Hendricks and they have 5 children.

Judy Lowder has been a part of Coltrin Mortuary since 2017. Judy assists with evening viewings and funerals.

Judy is married to McKay Lowder. She has 6 children. Judy enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
